Yes, we have actually 5 or 6 hamster for a very short while, which was the product of mating. However, both parents, which are Winter-white have gone missing since then, leaving behind their offsprings, which are darker in colour! This is what we called Genetic Variation!

Our Miao Miao
Miao Miao has grown much since we adopted it. This was taken after F bathed her.
She absolutely hates it!
Hmmm. . . "^&%$#*!!!"
Our or His goldfish?
Frank bought some shrimps and a goldfish some time ago. He keeps the tank in the bathroom. After a while, the water plant dissappeared, probably eaten up by the greedy goldfish. Then, the shrimp disappeared one after another. Well, thanks to the goldfish, it is now all alone.
My Journey in Bread-Making I
Since I have gotten hold of the bread dough recipe, I have been making batches of sausage rolls. They range from mini ones (as seen above) to huge ones (like those at the bakery).
Josh enjoying his bread thoroughly! Best when its just baked.
My Threesome
What a wonderful smile from Josh! Btw, he loves to jump on this sofa.
Ben is beginning to ride on his own now.

Anna's 8th Birthday
I owe this celebration to Anna, was suppose to be held last year but postponed it till this year. Almost wanted to make it small but she insisted. So, it was planned just a week ahead, including birthday invite.
So, the cake was also very last minute. Baked 2 days ahead and iced only on the day itself.
This turned out good again! I am glad.
With Michele at DownTown East
Such great weather to be out and about. The girls have much fun together.
Frank sure enjoyed this ride. He went like 4x2 times round the track!
We had a splashing good time. Ben was so wet.
A good ride to rest the elevated heart rate.
Ben loves the ride!
Cycling & Scootering
Thanks to Gong Gong, Anna inherited the foldable bicycle, which she likes very much. Now, she can ride faster and easier up the slope. The bike that Josh is riding seems too small for him. Will prob pass to Ben and hopefully get a hand-me-down from Jaydn. HAHA!
They love scootering. They love scootering down slopes especially Josh. Needed very much to get another scooter for Josh. His is very worn-out and wobbly. That might explain why he fell off the scooter a few times the last couple of weeks.
Marina Square
Found an interesting playground at MS while waiting for Anna to finish class. So cute to see the two of them playing so nicely together. They often fight for the least important thing.
Friends from Down Under
Anna's friends from Perth came to visit Singapore. It was a really pleasant catching up.
Well, they managed to stay at Keppel by the Bay. They absolutely love Singapore and the weather!

Zoolympics 2011
Finally Anna and Josh got themselves ranked in the 'Hall of Fame'!
Our usual snack at the Zoo, KidsWorld.
A lovely afternoon spent at the Zoo.
Cold Storage Kids Run 2011
This is a post-dated post.
All set for the Run!
The kids went for the Carnival, which served lots of popcorn and CANDY FLOSS!
Balloons too!
It was really warm but couldn't resist a pic of MBS.
Zoo XBOX Kinect Challenge
Thanks to Wendy, we had an opportunity to take part in 'Amazing Race' at the Zoob under the Kinect Challenge. Apparently she won tickets for a family via Facebook, friends were asked to vote for them over a stipulated time.
Girls power and super hero!
Planting Rice is never fun, bent from morn till the set of sun . . .
From our trip to the Science Centre, Frank managed to bring some unpolished rice home. He decided to grow them and use the process as a learning jouney for the children. At some point in the growing, the house cat was more interested in the rice than the children. Of course, my MIL was the one person who really took care of the rice plants.
Proud Mr Tay, harvesting the rice grains.
Science Centre
We signed up as members of the Science Centre and the kids simply love the place. I like the ad-hoc table activities run by students volunteers. They are usually for littles ones and the volunteers tends to interact more with them as well.
Anna's Ballet thus far
This was the last Ballet open house prior to the Grading Exams.
This was before Anna leaves for her audition.
On the Grading Exams day itself, minutes before they entered the Exams venue. These were the girls in her group and all were dressed up appropriately. They were rather anxious too.
Time flies . . .
With the change of job for both Frank and I in late May, we have been rather caught up with the new routine for ourselves. As such, the kids' routine have been changed. It has been 2 months thus far. Really need to update some of our activities on the blog.
Still one of Ben's or rather the family's favourite activity!
Just Ben and I. Its amazing how much he has grown. He used to be crawling on the sand and eating sand all the time. Now, he is one big boy with a funny attitude.

Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
Ben walked more than half the way on his own.
Managed to take a family shot using a tree stump as support! Good lighting as well.
Finally Ben gave up and was been carried in the backpack. Anna and Josh were on their own. Although Josh was tired, he held on to my hands and even encouraged me when I was tired after the many many steps upwards.
Lovely Shitake
We got ourselves some yummy mushrooms growing on a log. We had to grow them in a cool, moist place, which is none other than our bathroom. The kids had fun spraying water everyday and watching them grow. Learning Science right at our door step!

Our Cat - Muffin Tay Meow Meow
The story -
Some time last Nov, Mr Tay came home after work with a kitten that he had stitched up at the clinic. Apparently, the kitten was attacked at the abdominal region with **** hanging out, a kind couple picked her up and sent her with their helper and $50 to the nearby Vet.
So, the kitten was 'saved' but without an owner. Mr Tay decided to bring her home to make sure she lives and subsequently, she would be put up for adoption.
Anyway, to cut the story short, nobody wants to give the kitten up especially our dear Mr Tay. Hence, the kitten is given a name and a home.
