Last week

This is our last week in Perth. . .

Sorting, packing, cleaning. . .

Laughing, crying, grinning, sighing. . .

Last night we give away Anna's bed, she was rather emotional about it. Initially she took it very well, but as she was preparing to go to bed (our bed), she kept thinking about her bed and started crying. She kept repeating, 'Bed', 'Bed'. It was funny yet sad.

Today, we gave away some stuffs again, I was torned in a way. I know i won't be able to bring them back, they are better off with someone who needs them here. Yet i was happy to see the house being emptier.

Fully utilised

A well-used diaper, its amazing how much wee this diaper can hold. Josh loves drinking water, so much so that we have to change his diaper almost 2 hourly or less. Often he would leave a pool of pee on the bed at night.

We bought a lemon lime brulee to celebrate our last month in Perth. It was rather emotional. . .

after exam...the zeepadeedoodah zeepadeedayeee....

My favourite part of exams is the after. We went for some beach/riverbank time, and some karaoke with my classmates. Anna just had her last day of school and it probably hasn't totally sunk in yet but she seems to understand that her time here is near over. Some of her friends have also moved to other schools (e.g. back to other countries like Japan, Venezuela; boys naturally go to other schools too cos Anna's school doesn't take boys from year 1 onwards.) Josh and Ben are blessedly less knowledgeable of these changes.

Punishment?

Josh was sent to the corner for being naughty. During the time-out, he fell asleep!

Weekend

Frank is busy studying for exams and the kids need lots of entertainment. . .

Cradle Cap cum . . .

Ben came down with some sort of rash, all over his face, suspected infant acne, so we were advised to clean his head off cradle cap as part of the hygiene issue. We were told by the child health nurse to use olive oil, which we did. Checked out the cool bandana (thanks Uncle Clem for the hanky, which you have left behind!).

Hi-5 Concert

Anna & Josh have been watching Hi-5 Dance Hits. Josh loves the songs and he would dance along. So we thought he might enjoy this concert together with Anna. Indeed they had fun, I too, enjoyed the music. Its a pity Tim, K and Charlie were not there.

Surgery team on last day

More fun loving ppl - this time, Singaporeans. We were a little bit nostalgic, likely no more surgeries together. Denise and Cheech.

They all woke up at 6am this morning, so bright and cheerful. Looks like they are ready for day-light saving starting this Sunday.

Ben's First Month

Bought a chesse cake to celebrate Ben's full month, but he was asleep the whole time. We had delicious char siew and roast pork delicately prepared by Frank (see above pic).

Ben is a rather wakeful baby with 2 hourly feed, playtime of 2-4 hours in between feed and sleep. Read that baby at his age should only be awake for max 2 hours and they usually get tired by then. . . somehow, Ben seems not tired. Its okay to be awake and feeding around the clock in the day but not when I have a baby with wide opened eyes looking at me from 2-5am! Just this week, I only had max 3 hours of sleep in 3 consecutive nights. On the fourth night, I literally was non-functional!

Greyhound Evening

Frank brought us to this Greyhound show/race with dinner buffet. Kids had fun with games and watching the dogs' races; adults had yummy food and some of us trying our luck! It was interesting telling which dog is a better runner than the other. The bigger the hound does not mean the faster!
