Stylo-milo

My partner and i were so vain we must have spent 10 minutes taking pictures of each other on the quad-bike (singaporeans would call it an ATV - all terrain vehicle).

Another highlight of the farm experience was chasing cows back from the fields on one of these - awesome!

Latest from the Husband

I was away at a dairy farm for 5 days and it was an eye openener. Wanted to be a farmer once but not anymore - too tough. Farming is really not for normal people - it takes alot to wake up early and work in the cold. Much of the work is very physically-demanding. Here's one of the highlights of the farm exeperience - calves! Saw one of these come out of a cow; i tell u even after u've watched it pop out, u still can't believe how something so big could have come out of a hole so small. Even more unbelievable than in humans (first hand experience).

Daddy's Girl

One of those rare pictures taken by me...there are hardly any pictures of father and daughter together. Don't you think they look alike?

Happy Birthday Anna!

Anna turned 3 this July and we celebrated it at King's Park. We spent the day at Lottery-West, a picnic with fried rice...followed by ice-cream and chips!

It was a beautiful day...sunny but super cold!

Any one has lemon craving?

Oh look at that freshie lemons! This lemon tree belongs to the other neighbour, ie. on our left. Everyday we look at those juicy lemons and wonder why anyone would pay 80 cents for one at the supermarket.

Actually, I have been secretly hoping that lemons would drop into our garden after stormy nights.

It really did! Twice so far!!!!!

Christmas in July...

This artistic shot was taken by my dear husband... its actually our neighbour's plant and it was blooming so beautifully.

In the next few weeks, the petals/leaves started to wilt and then one day...it was gone! The whole tree! HaHA!

The Best Cook

Well this is Mr Tay, the best Cook in the family according to Anna. Sigh, despite the daily chef cooking ALL the time, I am considered second best.

'Papa is the best Cooker!!!!!'

Feeding the birds

Kids these days really enjoy feeding the birdie. HAHAH! They spent so much time and use up so much bread...

The 3 years old

There they are! Dun they looked great together!

Little Houses

This was the day out with the Chews when they were here visiting in June. We were visiting this place called Abingdon Miniature Village in Mandurah.

Anna had a good time with Jaydn and Zachery.

The Pink Mushroom Cake!

A joint colloboration between 2 Cindys....it took us almost a good 5 hours to complete the creation! It was actually a trial for me so that I can return back home to bake one for Anna's birthday.

Well, Anna loved it so much that she refused to cut the cake to eat it. So, we kept it as it is for almost 1 month, good thing it is winter.
