Josh turned 6 months

Josh started semi-solids when he was 5 months and 1 week old. Reason being 1 week earlier than planned was that during meal times, he would reach out without fail for our plates/bowls/spoons or anything that he can see on the dining table.

So, I started him on a fruits and vegetable puree eg. apple, pear, banana, apricot, pumpkin, carrot, sweet potato, potato, just once a day during lunch for 2 weeks. (with/without rice cereal mix in)

Then, with more interest in food, 2 weeks later, I started him on breakfast. That means I was not only preparing Anna's fruit, morning tea and lunch, I was making puree for Josh as well. All to be done before I fetch Anna to school at 840am. Tough man! So, I began making puree in bulk! Also, green vegetables were added to his menu eg. broccoli and spinach.

Once he turned 6 months, dinner was added to his routine. So far, he is taking in quite well and I introduced the following:
Vanilla yoghurt (Vaalia), rice porridge, mango, avocado.

One of his favourite is mashed banana and avocado.
